How Trailing Plants Grow

Trailers naturally send their stems outwards and over the edge as they grow, creating the cascading habit that makes them particularly good for adding greenery at different heights around the home.

Some remain delicate and compact, while others can develop impressively long trails with time. Unlike creepers, which naturally travel across the growing surface, trailers are perfectly happy letting their growth spill beyond the edge of the pot.
