Biobotanic Abode operates from Queensland, Australia, and sells products exclusively within Australia. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You are over 18 years of age or have the permission of a legal guardian to make purchases.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete personal information for all orders.

2. Product Information
We grow and sell unique, rare, and variegated plants, as well as plant-related gifts and accessories. Please note:

• Plant Variations: All our plants are unique! While the photos on our website represent the species, the plant you receive may vary slightly in size, shape, or colour due to natural growth and seasonal changes.

• Care Information: We provide care tips for all our plants, but we cannot guarantee the long-term health of your plant once it leaves our nursery. Success with plant care may vary depending on your home environment and care practices.

3. Orders and Payments
All prices listed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and currently exclude GST. We accept payments through secure third-party providers, such as AfterPay and Stripe.

• Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. Please review your order carefully and contact us immediately if you need to make changes.

• Payment: Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to cancel any order if payment is not received or if fraudulent activity is suspected.

 

4. Shipping and Delivery
We only ship within Australia. All shipping is processed through Australia Post Express to reduce stress on your plants. Please note the following:

• Shipping Restrictions: Due to biosecurity laws, we cannot ship live plants to Western Australia, Northern Territory, or Tasmania. Non-living items (e.g., gifts, plant decor) are exempt from this restriction.

• Dispatch Schedule: Orders placed before midnight Sunday will be dispatched on Monday or Tuesday. We do not ship on other days.

• Shipping Rates: A flat rate of $18 AUD applies for express shipping, unless otherwise stated during promotions.

• Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email upon dispatch. We recommend creating an account with the Australia Post MyPost app for real-time updates.

• Address Accuracy: Please ensure you provide the correct delivery address. We are not responsible for lost parcels due to incorrect information provided during checkout.

 

5. Returns, Remedies, and Plant Health
At Biobotanic Abode, we take pride in the quality of our plants and customer service. However, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind. Please refer to our Remedies Policy for more information:

• Damaged or Faulty Plants: If your plant arrives looking less than lively, please take photos and email us within 24 hours of delivery. We will assess the situation and determine the best course of action. Some plants can be a bit dramatic after shipping, so they may just need water and indirect light to perk up.

• Quarantine Advice: We strongly recommend quarantining new plants for at least two weeks before introducing them to your existing collection, regardless of where the plants come from, to prevent the spread of pests or disease.

• Pest Issues: If a plant arrives with pests, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue and may offer remedies depending on the situation.

 

6. Fraudulent Activity and Chargebacks
At Biobotanic Abode, we take fraudulent activity very seriously. If we suspect that a customer has made a false chargeback or is attempting to take advantage of our payment systems, we reserve the right to:

• Cancel any future orders from that customer.

• Ban the customer from making future purchases with us.

• Take legal action where necessary.

Please note, we do not accept PayPal payments due to repeated instances of misuse and fraudulent chargebacks in Australia. We encourage customers to use secure credit card or debit card payments via trusted providers.

7. Sales, Discounts, and Promotions
From time to time, Biobotanic Abode may offer special sales or promotions. The following conditions apply:

• Sales Prices: Sales prices are only valid during the promotional period. We cannot honour sale prices for orders placed before or after the promotion.

• Discount Codes: Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added after the order has been placed. Only one discount code can be used per order unless otherwise specified.

• Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers purchased from Biobotanic Abode are non-refundable and must be used before the expiration date stated on the voucher.

• Delayed, lost, or misdelivered parcels due to postal service errors or incorrect address details provided by you.
