Biobotanic Abode began the way many good things do, with curiosity and a growing collection of plants that slowly took over more space than originally intended.
What started as a personal fascination with unusual foliage quickly turned into something deeper. The more time spent growing, propagating, and experimenting with different varieties, the more it became clear that plants weren’t just a hobby. They were a craft. Before long, shelves filled with propagations, benches filled with divisions, and the quiet satisfaction of watching new growth became part of everyday life.
That same passion now shapes everything we do at Biobotanic Abode. Instead of simply sourcing plants, we focus on growing them ourselves wherever possible, nurturing them from small beginnings into the healthy, established plants that eventually find their way into new homes. It’s a slower, more hands-on way of doing things, but it keeps us connected to the plants and the process.

Most nurseries source plants from growers and ship them straight out the door. We take a different approach. Almost every plant we sell has been grown right here with us. We source mother plants and tissue culture specimens, then nurture, propagate, and divide them into the plants that eventually make their way into your home.
That means when you receive a plant from Biobotanic Abode, it hasn’t just passed through our hands, it’s grown up with us. We’ve watched the leaves unfurl, the roots establish, and the plant settle into its rhythm.
